C.A.R.R.I. Protocol Guide

The CyberAcme Runner Reinforcement Initiative (C.A.R.R.I.) is a mid-season protocol introduced in Patch 1.0.6 by ONI. It rewards both solo Runners and coordinated Crews for completing contract objectives and exfiling together.

The system introduces a new currency — CyberAcme Commendations — earned through gameplay and spent at a dedicated Armory tab. The rewards are tuned to help newer and mid-progression players while still offering value to endgame veterans.

C.A.R.R.I. runs from the launch of Patch 1.0.6 through the end of Season 1.

There are several ways to earn CyberAcme Commendations depending on how you play:

Playing in a Crew (premade or filled): You earn Commendations for each contract objective you help your crewmates complete.

Solo Runners: You earn Commendations by completing any individual contract objective, and by successfully exfiling.

Rooks: You earn Commendations upon a successful solo exfil.

Bonus — Exfiling with Others: Both solo players and Rooks earn extra Commendations when they exfil with other players outside of their Crew — whether those other players are Rooks, solo Runners, or a full Crew.

There is also a new Enhanced-rarity trinket that can drop in all zones. Exfiling with this trinket in your inventory rewards CyberAcme Commendations each time.

CyberAcme Commendations are sent directly to your Vault upon extraction and can stack up to 100.

The C.A.R.R.I. Armory is accessed from the CyAc tab in SILK. Here you can exchange CyberAcme Commendations for a selection of rewards:

Weapons: A rotating selection of weapons available for purchase with Commendations.

Salvage Crates: Grant a random stack of Salvage items. Stock refreshes daily.

Sponsored Kits: Pre-built equipment kits. Stock refreshes daily.

Reputation Packs: Grant reputation for their associated faction. These do not refresh and can only be purchased once.

Daily-refresh items (Salvage Crates and Sponsored Kits) restock every day, so check back regularly. One-time purchases like Reputation Packs are gone once claimed.

Patch 1.0.6 also introduces Stay Together, a new end-of-run feature tied to the cooperative spirit of C.A.R.R.I. After a successful exfil, you can choose to form a new Crew with the Runners you just exfiled with.

Only one crewmate needs to successfully exfil for Stay Together to be available — if you were eliminated during the run, you can still join the new Crew.

This is a great way to turn a good random squad into repeat partners without needing to exchange friend requests mid-lobby.
